[rtg] rtgplot 0.8.1 - wildly inaccurate totals

Folks,

I've been running 0.7.4 and 0.8.1 alongside for a while now, it's
become clear that the figures reported by both vary wildly.

Taking one of the many, many cisco switches being polled and pulling
up a monthly report for one of the FE ports.

RTG 0.8.1
 rtgplot - 3.2TB incoming, 350GB outgoing.
 report.pl - 353GB incoming, 40GB outgoing.

RTG 0.7.4
 rtgplot - 371GB incoming, 42GB outgoing.
 report.pl - 348GB incoming, 40GB outgoing.

So give or take a few GB here or there (which is expected, especially
on different machines which poll at different points of the 5 min
interval) - pretty much all the figures match up, not that I've
included figures here but that also includes the mix/max/avg mbps
figures between rtgplot 0.8.1 and 0.7.4.

However, the GB/TB summary shown in the 0.8.1 rtgplot is way out - so
much so I can't see any meaningful connection with these figures.

If report.pl is able to pull up meaningful figures then I presume
(right?) that it's not rtgpoll causing problems, or the database, but
the issue lies within rtgplot?

Does anyone know what's going on?

Kind regards,
Andy
