That's an interesting idea, but the identical traffic exists on two
unrelated switches.  Outbound traffic on FE0/1 on router A matches every
other active port on router A *and* on router B.  So even if I were
polling a VLAN, there should still be a difference between the two
switches.  It really looks like it's just polling the same interface on
the same switch for all of both switches' ports' outbound ifoctets, but
I can't for the life of me figure out how or why that would be
happening.
