Hello all,
Hehe sorry to ask a dumb question :p
Where can I download the latest rtg specifically 0.8.x?
I have been using 0.7.4, it runs great but I saw some problem.
The problem I was having:
When I ran rtgtargmkr.pl, it tried to update new interface and some
descriptions.
But apparently, it does not udpate them at all.
Below is partial output from rtgtargmkr.pl
Interface description changed.
Was: ""
Now: "07.01.02b.4"
Suggest: UPDATE interface SET description='07.01.02b.4' WHERE id=753
Interface description changed.
Was: ""
Now: "07.02.02c.2"
Suggest: UPDATE interface SET description='07.02.02c.2' WHERE id=1345
Interface description changed.
Was: ""
Now: "07.02.02c.4"
Suggest: UPDATE interface SET description='07.02.02c.4' WHERE id=1375
Interface description changed.
Was: ""
Now: "07.01.02b.5"
Suggest: UPDATE interface SET description='07.01.02b.5' WHERE id=760
I ran 10x and still the same output.
So what I did is I updated the entry manually using sql statement from mysql
cli (command line) and tried re-run the rtgtargmkr.pl
No more "Suggest:" messages.
Access using the username/password and database from rtg.conf worked fine.
A little bit background of our rtg db:
Total data size is 1GB
Total record entries: 32,262,352 (records) MyISAM (type) latin1_swedish_ci
(encoding) 1.0 GB (data size) 0 Bytes (overhead)
Duration: 2 months of data
So Im not sure if this is due to the 1GB or 32millions records or just
something else. :(
If the interfaces are not UPDATE through the rtgtargmkr.pl, the graph will
not showed up at all. They will just give me a blank graph with 23:59 on the
x-axis.
Anyone has any idea about this? :) Thanks.
And another question, hmm since the db is quite big, I want to know what
kind of backup can I do? So maybe I can take anything out that is from April
to May and leave June intact. Then maybe store into another db called
rtg_year, to create a yearly graph? Hehe any suggestion?
Thanks a bunch guys.
Regards,
Rudy Setiawan
