Hi Matt,
Thanks for your reply. I gave up in the end. A week of trying was enough for
me. ;) I even tried compiling it all from source so it was (presumably)
compatible with my kernel but still nothing. I'd read bits here and there
about people having problems with x86_64. Luckily I had a 'standard' machine
that I could use with the i386 install of FC5. So I rebuilt it and it
installed first time. Pity I couldn't get it working on x86_64 but at least
I got it going somehow thankfully.
I'd still like to hear from anyone if they can tell me how to fix this.
