 Sorry - that was a typo - multiprocess interface discovery is what I'm
shooting for.

The plan (not mine, but that's irrelevant) is to poll all interfaces, as
well as other stats, on all customer CPE/IADs.  However, instance ID
renumbering is rampant on many of these devices, so I'll need to rediscover
them nightly.

We have several thousand customers, plus recent mergers will add 10-15K
more. Discovering all those objects will probably take far too much time if
done serially.

RTG's multithreaded polling will take care of the rest, and I have plans for
implementing a cluster of those if/when necessary.
