Well, there were a few steps, and some trial-and-error to getting it all
working... I've scripted most of it. Just download this

And extract it somewhere safe. There's two short shell scripts inside that
will install the build-dependencies, download the RTG sources from CVS,
apply the yrtg patch, apply some other patches, and do some upgrading of the
toolchain to build on a recent system.

./get_build_deps.sh  # Use aptitude to install packages needed for the build
./start_from_scratch.sh  # Do everything else needed to make it buildable


I've only tested this on x86 Ubuntu 6.04 and 7.04 systems, but it *should*
work on any recent Debian as well.

(As a side note, my .deb package is currently broken and I don't have the
time to work on fixing it right now, so I'm reluctant to offer that instead)
