You can do this all in the rtg_targets.conf file. You specify what to
poll ( which mib) , and what table to insert the results in. IE:
And then you can do the same with the rtgplot, labeling how you choose.
Thanks,
Andy

Subject: [rtg] Flipping ifOutOctects and ifInOctects
Hi all,
Since I'm polling switches, instead of routers, inbound and outbound
tends to confuse some folks since l2 switches see these 'reversed'
compared to true routers. I've figured out how to modify my code base to
flip the graphing around, however I still have the issue if the
following:

I realize that these tables are auto generated from SNMP polling and I'd
have to hack MIBs in order to get the results I'm ultimately looking to
achieve. I was curious, before going that route, if anyone has modified
the source to RTG in order to either:
a) completely disregard the data from appearing on rtg images.
b) flip the result set.
I wouldn't mind recompiling RTG to achieve these results. It obviously
is not feasible to do otherwise.
Thanks!
