For us in both regular RTG and yrtg HUPs are broken.
We use RTG only for polling and have written our own data aggregation
scripts and graphing applets.

Subject: [rtg] nice graphs and colors, cronjob
Hello,
Currently, our graphs looks not that great, mainly because of the simple and
nearly unnoticible lines, aswell as the bad chosen line colors. The code
that we are using at the moment is:
<IMG
SRC=\"$rtg_location/rtgplot.cgi?t1=ifInOctets_".$router_id."&t2=ifOutOctets_
".$router_id."&iid=$interface_id&begin=$begin_time&end=$end_time&uni
ts=bits/s&factor=8&filled=yes&percentile=95\">
Anyone who has some sample code make this a bit more interesting and
fancier..?
Also, from the RTG readme:
A typical installation will run the rtgtargmkr script nightly and then send
rtgpoll a -HUP signal to force the poller to re-read the target list.
I already have a cron for running thr targetmaker daily (every 3 hours
actually), but was wondering what you use for the HUP signal to force a
reread to the rtgpoll.
Also, anyone tried yrtg? It seems yahoo has made some changes, code cleanups
and improvements for rtg, and was wondering if its worth updating?
Thanks,
Tom
