Nov 13 14:09:13 Installed: libtool-ltdl-1.5.22-6.1.i386
Nov 13 14:09:13 Installed: libtool-ltdl-devel-1.5.22-6.1.i386
on CentOS I believe is what gets you past that problem.

Subject: [rtg] libtool error while running configure (RTG2 code from google code)
Hello RTG list,
Hope you can help me with the following. I get this error while running the configure script on a CentOS 5.3 system. I toke the source from google code, but i had the same problem with the CVS source from the official site. I also tested this on Suse, same problem. This is the error i get:
checking libtool... checking for lt_dlinit in -lltdl... no
configure: error: Cannot link with libtool libs! (libltdl)
I noticed on the list that there are people who did got it running on Redhat systems. I hope they can share how they did it. Maybe i'm just missing a package...
The system is specially installed for RTG with none of the package options were touched (but i did run a yum update, so the system only has the gnome-desktop groupinstall and the following indidual packeged installeded:
1259145186 (Wed 25 Nov 2009 11:33:06 AM CET) kernel-headers
1259145188 (Wed 25 Nov 2009 11:33:08 AM CET) libgomp
1259145191 (Wed 25 Nov 2009 11:33:11 AM CET) glibc-headers
1259145192 (Wed 25 Nov 2009 11:33:12 AM CET) gcc
1259145192 (Wed 25 Nov 2009 11:33:12 AM CET) glibc-devel
1259145224 (Wed 25 Nov 2009 11:33:44 AM CET) imake
1259145225 (Wed 25 Nov 2009 11:33:45 AM CET) autoconf
1259145226 (Wed 25 Nov 2009 11:33:46 AM CET) automake
1259145420 (Wed 25 Nov 2009 11:37:00 AM CET) libtool
